Minecraft: Pocket Edition 0.13.0 is out!




Thank you all for testing our latest update. It looks like we got rid of a lot of bugs and now everyone can enjoy Redstone. This is of course just the first phase of implementing Redstone, so there is still a long way ahead of us. If you find any new bugs that have not been reported to the bug tracker yet, make sure to do that. If it is not reported - we will not be able to fix it :D

New Features

  • Redstone Circuits: Redstone Wire, Torch, Lamp, Levers, Buttons, Pressure plates, Tripwires, Trapped Chests and Detector Rails. Craft them all!
  • Cute, fluffy, crop-eating, bunnies
  • Desert temples
  • New types of wooden doors

Removed Features

  • Stonecutter (RIP)
  • Herobrine (RIP)

Tweaks

  • Redstone can be used to control doors, trapdoors, TNT and rails
  • Faster boats with improved handling
  • Increased item tooltip visibility time in Windows 10 Edition Beta
  • Stack count labels now use a bigger and more readable font
  • Slimes and Ghasts now actually spawn!
  • Hunger restored by food items now match the PC version
  • Flowers created by using Bone Meal on Grass now depend on the biome
  • Skeletons now run away from Wolves
  • Obsidian now breaks in 6.5 seconds rather than 3
  • Minecarts now stack on top of each other
  • Boats now stack
  • Beetroot soup now stacks
  • Fixed Curved Rail and Redstone behaviour
  • Improved Slime spawning
  • Block lag should be significantly reduced. Everything should feel more responsive now
  • Updated door textures all over the place
  • Even more Ghast and Slime spawning

Bug fixes

  • Mobs no longer suffocate in carpets (because that was kinda cruel)
  • Held items now look better in first-person mode
  • Loads of other bug fixes that are too boring to go into here

Changelog for 0.13 build 5!



0.13.0 Build 5

Behold, build 5 is out! This build should be the last one before the final 0.13 release, so test it well :)
For any bug that you really hate and that hasn't been fixed yet, stay tuned for 0.13.1!

Bug Fixes
  • Redstone clocks are now a bit slower, and remain in sync with NOT gates
  • Redstone dust now aligns correctly on vertical sections
  • Redstone torches don't keep their state too long anymore
  • Changes some pixels in the new skin pack
  • Fire TV users now can look around with the controller

Tweaks
  • Block lag should be significantly reduced and the game should feel less laggy!
  • Updated the textures of all doors!
  • Even more Ghast and Slime spawning

  • Localized the "New" button
  • Tripwire outputs power when broken with anything other than shears
  • Skeletons now burn during daytime
  • Apples shouldn't be poisonous
  • Minecarts placed on a Powered Rail next to an opaque block now move in the right direction

Another weekend, another build. New bugs are best enjoyed during the weekend!

Bug Fixes
  • Fixed a crash when covering a XOR Gate
  • Mushroom stew is not poisonous anymore
  • Smelting progress bar resets correctly
  • Fixed clay generating in place of gravel
  • Fixed stone slab side texture
  • Mobs don't stay aggressive anymore when switching to Creative
  • Can use colors in the chat again!
  • Fixed disappearing parts of Iron Golems, Villagers, Endermen and Wolves
  • Note blocks can now be powered
  • Boats no longer cause holes when rendering behind waterfalls
  • Fixed missed faces in water rendering

Changelog for 0.13 build 2!




0.13.0 Build 2

Hey fellow chaps, here's a brand new build for 0.13!
It contains a lot of bug fixes:

Bug Fixes


  • The terrain doesn't flicker invisible anymore when too many chunks are active
  • Fixed a crash when it's night in a village and you're holding a door not made of oak
  • The held item's movement in first person is now more fluid
  • Fixed mobs disappearing after going through a Portal
  • Removed redundant tripwire recipes
  • Redstone dots now only get powered from below
  • Doors now pop correctly when destroyed by removing the block below them
  • Mobs aren't pulled immediately back into Minecarts after being thrown out
  • Ocelot heads don't disappear anymore
  • Block of Redstone is now properly translated
  • Fixed item duplication glitch in the Anvil
  • Fixed various Redstone weirdness that is too hard to explain honestly
  • Fixed corrupted images in the Language screen
  • Villagers now open doors of all kinds
